      Router firmware somewhere inbetween?

      Just looking at the Sky Router Firmware thread and the Sky Q Hub ER110 current firmware is shown as being 2.04.2076.R, and the rolling out version as 2.06.2188.R
      When i check the stats on my router, the firmware is shown as 2.05.2174.R

      I’m on exactly the same firmware version as you, which I got a week or two ago now.

      2174 started to roll out, then suddenly 2188 started coming out a few days later.

      Sky Fibre Unlimited Pro: Connected at 80,000 kbps / 20,000 kbps
      Previous ADSL2+ Speed 19999 kbps 1153 kbps, Line Attenuation 17.5 db 6.9 db, Noise Margin 7.5 dB 8.7 dB
      Speedtest: 17.15MB/s 0.97Mb/s Ping 31 ms

      Ah ok, thanks for the info.

      I think the newer firmware may have been in response to the wi-fi security problem that was found out recently..it's why i was checking out how new my firmware was!
      Hopefully 2188 has the fix in it.
      Seems as though it's still going to be a problem going forward though!

      That was not the reason for that firmware release.

      Sky have made no further statement to their official response on the community forum to the security issue;

      We are working to identify whether or not a fix is required for any of our products and will update customers directly if any action is needed.
