      New Sky Hub user - remote desktop setup

      Hi guys
      I've just installed my dads new Sky hub after switching from BT. Everything is working very well although I can't seem to find the setting to use remote desktop to access a pc I have at his house. The BT router was quite easy to set up but I just can't see how to do it with this new Sky router.

      I've assigned the devices so they all receive their individual ip but i'm a bit lost how to get remote desktop working

      Can anyone help me out

      Which software are you using? If you are using Microsoft's then there is better.

      I used to use LogMeIn, which was free. Once they insisted that you pay I switched to TeamViewer and have been happy with it since.

      I have several friends whom I support remotely. Each has their own user account and I've linked those specific laptops or desktops to my account.

      The only settings I need are to log into an account on the device and set up a static password that only I know.

      I could dial in any time that their computer is on, but I always make sure that it's safe to do so. I can also use a phone or tablet to control their device or just observe what they are doing as I chat with them on the phone or via Skype.
