      Question Security Question

Hi. I have noticed recently that my Wireless Adapter is picking up another SKY Router (mine was on its own previously).

I presume if both have the same default IP Address and Login that this wouldn't cause an issue as you would need the Network Key to get into the Router... If so, how come some people have suggested that I may want to change my Router login password? (apart from if someone were to guess the key!)

Security should not be considered as something that you might configure, it's something that you MUST configure.

      A) You don't want some little to*s pot stealing bandwith that you pay for,
      B) You don't want another little to*s pot accessing sites or downloading illegally using your connection,
      C) You may have left your network wide open.

Go for WPA2, but at least use WEP, WEP won't keep a semi-serious hacker out but will delay the process.
