    Lights

    This is a discussion on Lights within the Sky Router forums, part of the Sky Broadband help category; In the sky booklet that came with the router it shows the number 1 lit green but mine is orange ...

      Lights

      In the sky booklet that came with the router it shows the number 1 lit green but mine is orange does this mean I have a problem

      the 1 will only be lit if you have a pc ethernet cable connected into it.

      If it's orange yes it may mean you have a connection problem but never had that myself before.

      is your nic working correctely ?????
      id double check that in device manager and maybe see if the light on your pc (normally under where u insert the ethernet cable ) is on if it not then it might be a faulty nic
      chess a bunch of kings sit about as the pawns are sent to their death's , now if all the pawns got together maybe talked the rook's round

      Lights

      I have got a cable plugged in and evrything seems ok. The light was green earlier so dont know why its gone orange . I have rebooted and its still orange but internet working ok. Strange

      Orange = 10Mb ethernet
      Green = 100Mb ethernet

      nice one I altered to 10mb this afternoon for a speed fix suggested in another thread. I will alter it back and check.
