    Router upgrade

      Router upgrade

      hi i been with sky for 6 years now and would like to upgrade my router form the black net gear router to a ASUS RT-N66U

      i have pulled my username and password form the router and was wating to know if sky use any mac flitering on there connection (currently my routor is on PPPoA

      )

      Sky don't use MAC filtering and you will have no problem connecting an ADSL router. However, are you sure the RT-N66U is an ADSL router? I think it may be a cable router which means you would need a modem to connect it directly to Sky broadband.
