How secure is the Netgear DG834GT

My previous router BT Voyager 205 ADSL was stealthed up to the teeth, nothing incoming/outgoing other than what I wanted. Perfectly setup static IP's on my LAN, etc etc. Ran a number of port checks on GRC.com and everything was stealthed perfectly.

Is the Netgear DG834GT router as safe though, I know it's newer, but does that mean it's better?

Anybody done any pre configured scripts which basically block everything but have preset config's for P2P ports etc that I can use?

      Thanks, Chris.
