      Question Router Lost connection

I was using the internet today whaen at 14.30 the connection was dropped. Despite the internet connection light being solid green!

I tried everything I know to try to get it back on. Checked connections, rebooted router, reset router and PC, tried repairing connection using the repair option.

I even resorted to calling Technical Support!

I spoke to a person who followed a script on a PC to get me to do all the things that I had already tried.

I was then told that a tier 3 would call me back immediately - I knew that this would not happen as I have been reading the posts on here.

Then all of a sudden at 18.15 my connection came back!

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Was it someone at tier 3 doing something at their end??

What is your noise margin level, being to low can constantly make it disconnect!

      Post your stats here!

ok... well the attenuation of 63.5db suggests that you live quite a distance from your local exchange! and your noise margin seems ok, but if it gets lower -5db then thats what could be causing your loss of connection!
