Try this at your own risk

Open the socket again and disconnect the orange wires, so only the blue/white and white/blue are connected, and then try

If this sorts it leave it as it is, if it doesnt you will need a krone tool to reconnect the orange wire.
Hi I had a look and we only have one plain orange and plain white wire connected?? So if I disconnect the orange wire we dont have a connection or phone line, is this just old wiring or am I missing something lolol

The plain orange and white wire is the main feed from the pole to your house.

Don't disconnect these or you'll lose the service all together.
