      Answerphone not working with Router

      Hi there

I have received the Netgear router from Sky Broadband and connection to the internet works fine (thankfully!) My issue is that my answerphone (which is conencted via the filters etc) does not work as it should. When the answerphone kicks-in the usual message is played, but straight after the 'beep' a terrible hissing buzzing sound is heard and no-one can leave a message. If I disconnect the router completely, the answerphone works fine. When I plug in my old Speedtouch modem everything is also okay. BTW, I am not using wireless, just the usual ethernet cable connection.

I have tried using different filters but the same thing happens.

Thanks in advance for your help.

      Rgds,
      Paul.

Change your default channel on your wireless router and see if it makes any difference.
