      Wireless Fail!

      The internet works fine on the computer and on the laptop throught ethernet yet when I try and connect wirelessly on the laptop it doesnt budge off the "Aquring Network Address" why is that?????

      Im using the standard built-in wireless on the HP Pavilion DV2000, The AMD Turion version... Running XP Home... Any questions need answering fire away!

      Make sure your Wireless NIC is set to aquire IP automatically for IP & DNS & that WEP/WAP is the same for both.

      Give us an IPCONFIG from the laptop - start > run > cmd > enter > ipconfig /all

      i might post one later... as its my sis's lappy and god knows where she is atm... thannx anyways.... i know that the NIC is set to automatically get IP & DNS
