      Unhappy Sagem router not connecting to internet

      Hi All

      Forum Noob here so sorry if posted in wrong section!

      I have a Sagem Router which has been working fine, up until yesterday when I had a family member round who was mucking around with it and then when I woke up in the morning - BAM! No internet connection for any of my devices!

      All the lights on the front are green so know its connected to sky fine but when trying to via a laptop, it just sits there hanging and notification bar it just says 'No Internet Connection'

      Now the easiest way to fix this would be by resetting it via the back of the router, but I guess when moving house or maybe getting kicked or something, the reset button has been pushed in and now can't be used so thats out the question. If I try and access it via '192.168.0.1' it again just sits there hanging and won't do anything expect tell me there is no connection.

      Well, I need some help here - I've tried every device I can in the house; Laptops, Smart Phones, Consoles, Nothing

      There must be a way to access the router, but does anyone know how?

      Check the wiring between the router and the telephone socket.

      Is the ADSL lead plugged correctly into the Microfilter?

      Is the LED illuminating the '@' symbol?

      No it hasn't. it is meant to be that way so you don't press it by accident. Push a strong pin or a biro point into the hole and hold it there for about 10 secs or until the tick light flashes.

      Managed to fix it, had a friend come over who found that DHCP wasn't active on the router and fixed and now back up and running

      And no, it is actually broken as if you put anything in there it goes all the way through - I know its about cm inside the box and not sitting on the outside. Not that much of a noob :P

      Looks like someone has been a bit heavy handed when pressing the button previously.
