Latest firmware for F@ST2504n or fix for current issues? Hi everyone,
I have had no problems with my sky boadband until yesterday.
A game I have started playing no longer works and I think it might be an issue with the router.
Team Speak 3 client for voice communication drops connection if any speaks.
Another problem is the game Day Z it uses an anti cheat software called "battleye" this is now kicking me as it cannot make a connection or the connection is being terminated.
First I want to try updating the router firmware, unfortunately I do not have an old adsl modem/router to test with.
Thanks for any help.

Re: Latest firmware for F@ST2504n or fix for current issues?
Well, im glad im not alone on this one, i have been scouring the web for days looking for the same set of issues im having, TS3 disconnects/times out when some one speaks, dayz battle eye kick and serious lag spikes in SWtOR, im betting its the firmware update last week, all was fine for me prior to the firmware.
You know what id like to do, have my sky internet, but be allowed to purchase my own router, then i wouldn't need to have updates forced on me and i could buy my self a GOOD router, not a cheap crappy sagem or bottom of the barrel netgear. If it turns out the router/firmwares at fault, i will be damned if im paying £35 for another rubbish bit of kit.
Oh and it appears we cant manually change the firmware, i have looked to see if i could roll it back or download the older version but i haven't fount it so far, plus chances are sky will just re flash it at 3am for you any way.

Just stumbled across this thread.
Also having the same TS3 problems, i've been going demented, searching forums, installing x amount of older TS clients but its nice to know it's probably that piece of crap Sagem. Would be nice to get a fix for this since i'm paying for a monthly TS server i can't use.
Edit: CAI, your not from Edinburgh are you?!

I am having the same problems here. TS3 disconnects after others talking / connecting / disconnecting but only when connected via network cable. Strangely doesn't seem to happen when connected via wifi. Pretty sure its the firmware update but as Tanker said I also haven't found a firmware file to roll back too. Hope to see an update very soon, in the meantime I will be using http://mumble.sourceforge.net/ instead!

Is there not a FW on the original CD?
Pretty sure if you messed with the backup.conf then you could disable the auto update, may annoy Sky though.

been also been having same problems anybody know how to get 5.27.1a4N firmware
Unfortunately both Sky and Sagem have not released sources to any of their firmwares (even though they are required to by the GPL)Last edited by martigan; 05-08-12 at 11:48 AM.
