Port Forward Sagem F@st to Foscam Wireless 8918w
Hello everyone. sorry to make my first post one which i need help..
I have purchased a Foscam IP camera 8918W which i have managed to set up fine to view over our wireless network. What i am wanting to do is remote view the camera.
I have read forums and googled, followed instructions but no luck!
I have a sky broadband Sagem F@st 2304 wireless router and i have set up an account with no-ip.
Within my sky broadband router settings, i have set the service menu up to allow the port/tcp to work, and the next step of setting up a firmware rule is where i beleive the problem lies.
On the instructions for the 2504 router, there is an option to send incoming traffic to ip address under the action menu.
My routers options under the action menu is only, Allow always, allow as per shedule, block.
How can i get this working without changing my router? i hope i have made sense?
Any help would be great

Do you mean you have set up a Dynamic DNS address or something similar?I have a sky broadband Sagem F@st 2304 wireless router and i have set up an account with no-ip.
Your camera must have a fixed IP address, or its address must be reserved in the routers address reservation list so that anything addresses to it always gets sent to it.
Unless you only want to access it at specific times which you can set in the Schedule, choose Allow always. My routers options under the action menu is only, Allow always, allow as per shedule, block.

Yes i set up a dynamic DNS with NoIP as per instructions from foscam.
Only problem is, inside the firewall rules, my router doesnt have the option to Send to IP.
I changed my sky router for a belkin one and managed to get this all working fine, but put my sky router back in reset up and it just wont work.
SERVICES: NAME1 - TCP - PORT 8081
FIREWALL RULE: INBOUND SERVICES, PORT 8081, ACTION - ALLOW ALWAYS, LAN IP - I ENTER MY IP ADDRESS FROM WHATSMYIP
WHEN I THEN TRY AND ACCESS MY NO-IP NAME WHICH IS CONFIGURED TO THIS, NOTHING LOADS AND IT WONT WORK.
BASICALLY IM WONDERING HOW I CAN GET ACCESS TO THIS CAMERA, FROM WHAT I CAN WORK OUT, WHEN I TRY AND ACCESS MY NO-IP WITH PORT 8081 AT THE END I SHOULD BE ABLE TO ACCESS MY CAMERAS IP ADDRESS REMOTLEY.
Im sorry im probably making no sense here

my cameras ip address is 192.168.0.7 - im going to have a look at the settings again and try to reserve the ip as you sugested. hopefully this makes it work.

Use the camera IP not the external one it should be like 192.168.0.50 and not 90.1.1.1.1 etcFIREWALL RULE: INBOUND SERVICES, PORT 8081, ACTION - ALLOW ALWAYS, LAN IP - I ENTER MY IP ADDRESS FROM WHATSMYIP

On one of the tutorials ive seen for the 2504 i saw the action menu has an option, send to ip address which is where i could put my cameras ip address if that makes sense.

You need to enter the IP address of the camera here. That's why I said you have to fix its address in the router.I ENTER MY IP ADDRESS FROM WHATSMYIP

ALLOW ALWAYS
LAN SERVER IP ADDRESS: ( MY CAMERAS IP ADDRESS? 192.168.0.7 )
WAN USERS: ??? WHAT DO I PUT HERE?

Any, unless you are always going to access it from one specific address.WAN USERS: ??? WHAT DO I PUT HERE?
WHERE DOES MY IP ADDRESS GO HERE? 91.50ECT??
You don't put your external IP anywhere, that's what the DDNS is for.
