Hi Scubbie thank you :-) although I wont have my sky connected till Thursday I'm Definitely looking forward to getting the 20 MB speed's I'm with IDNET getting very close to the 8meg speed.

Make a note of your current stats now, even if you're not on Sky yet. The link below is for Sky router, but will be similar you most other routers:

How to get your router statistics

You may like to compare once your sky BB goes live. Remember too that Sky's minimum Noise Margin is around 7dB. I mention this as other ISPs use 5dB which can produce a faster connection in some cases.

As for signatures, click on the 'User CP' link above and select 'Edit signature'. Take a look at what other members have, you may wish to create you own more personal image.

Have retrieved some stats using Telnet and checked the 192.168.0.1 on the router the snr is the same "off course".

Far Current Attenuation : 1 dB Far SNR Margin : 18 dB
DS actual PSD : 9. 9 dB US actual PSD : 12. 5 dB
NE Current Attenuation : 0 dB Cur SNR Margin : 11 dB

them are the settings Iam getting regarding the line etc so should be good :-)

BTW Iam using a Vigor 2820N at the moment and would love to know for later on how to retrieve the adsl username and password from this new Sagem Router.

I think I got it by having a good conversation with the bloke on the phone when doing that I mentioned a view times about my Wireless N network which I do have etc now Iam starting to think that I had that conversation with that Bloke! I got the router I have now or maybe just pot luck !
