I only ask because my current sky router had juice spilt on it and Sky are going to ship me a new one, just wanted to know if it was better than my current one

As it is a replacement you may receive a refurb, this could be a Sagem or a Netgear. New users get the D-link2640S, so you may get one of these if no refurbs are available. All Sky routers are similar, there is not much difference between them.

Except the Sagem is rubbish on long lines compared to the Netgear (cant speak for the d-link tho)

      Re: New Router model

I got the D-Link when I got Sky broadband back in September 2010. Too be honest I find it a decent router. I have 2700 hours uptime without a reboot, so in my case its proving pretty stable.

      Re: New Router model

I've been using the old sky/netgear router for ages (DG834GT) Even after swapping to O2 for a year and had zero problems but it's still good to get my hands on some new tech toy to play with!

And my new router is currently winging it's way to me and expected before my activation on the 15th Can't wait!

My Sagem was replaced with a brand new D-Link.
