      Faster internal network?

I was looking if there was a faster Sky N router or one with gigabit connections, after a little search it looks like it's best to stick with a Sky one and there isn't an N upgrade avaliable yet.
Any advice on how best to upgrade my internal network even if I have to keep my existing Sky box?

As a studio engineer I regularly transfer large audi and video files on my Mac's so would like as fast a network as possible.

      Many thanks for any help..

A gigabit switch may be your answer. Here is a nice cheap one - TP-Link TL-SG1005D 5-Port Desktop Gigabit Switch

      Re: Faster internal network?

I don't think there are that many ADSL routers on the market with gigabit ports.
If you've got more than four ethernet devices to network, you might as well buy a gigabit switch, and it will probably be the cheapest option too.

However, the billion 7800N might be worth looking at, as it is purportedly broadcom bcm6358 based, which is one of the best adsl chips, and has both an ADSL telephone port and a WAN port, so it could be plugged into an ordinary sky router in the unlikely event that Sky were to enforce the T&Cs about using a Sky router. It's not cheap though, so do read up the reviews first.
