just got my box delivered today, plugged it all in and internet seems to be working fine, but then i noticed that there is no power switch on it.
dont want to leave it plugged in all the time, plus getting to the plug is a bit difficult .does that mean i have to pull the power cable out the back evertime i switch my pc off

why do you not want to leave it on ?

I leave mine plugged in day in day out the only time I unplug mine is when I go on holiday.
if you want to unplug it everytime you have finish with your pc then that is the only way unless you unplug it from the back.

Attach the feet that were supplied with the router & stand it upright, that will cool it down

oh okay fair enough it's up to you at the end of the day.
I presume you are standing it upright with the feet supplied if not upright keeps it cooler.

      Welcome to the site markyb

They are designed to be left on all the time routers tend to get very temperamental when you switch them on and off at the time, they really hate getting hot and cold all the time.

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.
