      router loses IP address details

Not Sure if this has been covered already , but I keep getting a problem where the connection will be fine, then if i do not use the PC for a while, when i go back on, i cannot get back onto the Internet.
Looking at the router, it says its connected, but the WAN IP details have gone - which i s why obvioulsy i have no internet !

This has happend a few times now and its really begining to hack me off, as I have to reboot every time, plus when i do, it takes over a minute for the router to aquire its IP address. Anybody else had a similar issue ?

I have found out my username and password, so am tempted to sart using my own router again

Try disabling UPnP and setting the speed to 108

Have you set it up to obtain the ip address automatically from the router.

If you haven't, try setting the tcp/ip to get everything automatically.

If you have it set to automatic, try hardcoding it. there is a thread on here somewhere which shows you how to do this if you don't know

Some router stats may also help
