      Angry Sky Not Connecting

Hi everyone new here so bear with me.
I have a problem with my internet which sky claim is a faulty power supply sounds dubious to me.

My router(sagem model) is currently displaying an orange light where the @ symbol is i have plugged and unplugged it several times i have checked the logs and they are saying the following thing

      Jan 1 00:02:30 (none) daemon.crit pppd[634]: PPP LCP UP.

Jan 1 00:02:59 (none) user.crit kernel: ADSL link down

      Jan 1 00:03:04 (none) user.crit kernel: ADSL G.994 training

Jan 1 00:03:23 (none) user.crit kernel: ADSL G.992 message exchange

      Jan 1 00:03:23 (none) user.crit kernel: ADSL link up, interleaved, us=961, ds=19227

Jan 1 00:04:39 (none) user.crit kernel: ADSL link down

      Jan 1 00:05:04 (none) user.crit kernel: ADSL G.994 training

      Jan 1 00:05:12 (none) user.crit kernel: ADSL G.992 started

Jan 1 00:05:16 (none) user.crit kernel: ADSL G.992 channel analysis

Jan 1 00:05:22 (none) user.crit kernel: ADSL G.992 message exchange

      Jan 1 00:05:22 (none) user.crit kernel: ADSL link up, interleaved, us=964, ds=19215

      Jan 1 00:06:18 (none) daemon.crit pppd[634]: PPP LCP UP.

it does say ppp server down.

Also when doing a diagnostic check it says NETWORK AUTHENTICATION FAILURE return code 200

Does it mean my internet has been blocked by sky or is it the router is knackered

Any help i would be most grateful.

      Re: Sky Not Connecting

It could very well be a faulty PSU, these can cause all sorts of strange problems.

Try a reset on the router, push a biro point into the reset hole on the rear and hold it there till the lights flash.

If that fails, switch the router off for 40-60 mins, then try to connect.
