home networking a wired 2nd pc with sagem router

hi...im new here! not sure if this is the correct place to post.....

i've just got a new pc with windows 7 and my old one is xp service pack 3.

i wish to network the them both with ethernet cables so they can share files and both access the net using the sagem sky router....i dont know which sagem it is...not sure if its sagem f&st...been on sky internet 8months

i notice is got 2 yellow ports and one green and one blue.....

when i purchase a second ethernet cable does this plug into the other yellow socket
could anyone help or direct me to a guide on the settings to get the pc's talking...

      thanks
      noodle!

Just plug it into any of the Ethernet ports on the router and then make sure all the PC's are using the same network name.
