Angry See Wireless, can not connect

      Any help please.

I have my laptop set up great when in the front room. I can see the wireless network and connect, all ok with 4 of the 5 bars for the wireless strength. No problems.

I move to the conservatory, i can see my wireless network and have 3 of the 5 bars for the wireless strength but can not connect! No setting changes have been made since being in the front room.

If i move back to the front room, 4 of the 5 bars in wireless strength and all is ok again!

If i can see the network, and it has an ok strength i should be able to connect?Any suggestions would be great.

      Thanks

      Possibly interference from another network.

Try having a look with inSSIDer (free download)

If thats the case log on to your router and change the wirelss channel.

Re: See Wireless, can not connect

As Penrhyn says, (Inssider from the link below), or the walls between you and the router are causing too much interference. Wireless does not like solid, or walls with certain type of insulation. If all else fails you could use a Homeplug network with a wireless transmitter for your laptop. Not cheap but it may be the only way, =

You can probably find cheaper, but this is the latest on the market.
