      Need quick help for a friend setting up sky routor

      She says its past the activation date and plugged in on the cable but everytime she goes into ie it just says internet connection unavalible try again later she has done a reboot and reset any ideas?

      Without detailed info on whether the internet light on the router is on and whether all the filters etc are plugged in on all telephone extensions, we cant advise.

      All lights are on green and supposedly connected correctally im doing this by phone

      Can she access the routers config pages at 192.168.0.1? (username: admin, Password: sky)
      If so does it show as Connected?
      If not then the computer is incorrectly configured - check TCP/IP settings are set to Obtain Automatically for IP address and DNS servers. Also verify that the web browser is not setup to use a proxy (tools-internet options-connections-Lan settings in IE)

      If all the green lights are on it means the line has been activated and the router is plug in and go so.. the problem presumably lies with the PC and possibly the cables. What operating system are you using?
