      Sagem Static Routes

      Hi,
I've searched and I think I know the answer already but its looking that it is not possible to add static routes to a Sagem 2504 router.

      I tried via http://xx.xx.xx.xx/sky_static_routes-add.html

I added the route, hit apply but it will not save.

Is there anyway round this? I have a second network sitting behind a firewall (Cisco Pix 515e) attached to the Sky router. I need to be able to advertise this network to the Sky router.

      Thanks

      Re: Sagem Static Routes

Right decision made. A seller on Ebay is selling Netgear DG834GT for 25 refurb with latest fw on them and blank config. I will extract user and pass from the Sagem and install the Netgear instead and keep the Sagem if Sky ever need to see it live on the line.

Its safe to say that the Sagem is locked down and had about as much functionality as a door stop! I can see why Sky have done this but if you would like or require some more extensive options on the router the Sagem isn't for you.
