    Using Sky router as modem only...

      the problem is with sky they dont give your user name and password out but theres that website which gives it out so really why doesnt sky just change there t&c that way it keeps everyone happy if they want to change the router let the customer do it. but no sky has to be awkward dont they other isps dont do this they tell you your user name and password so you can use your own router if you want to heh. but then theres the difficult part say you had a new router and you put in the user name and password and ip addresses etc etc in and got it up and running what happens if sky change there hardware and the router no longer connects means you gotta connect the old one back to get the latest information.
