      Using another Sky router

I have the original Netgear White router, which has been playing up recently (the switch side of it - keeps randomly disconnecting). I have bought from ebay a black sagem sky router. I have plugged the new one in and everything works fine and connects to Sky Broadband. Is there any issue with using this?

      Re: Using another Sky router

There should not be any problem. It seems that once a router is registered with Sky it continues to work, even if the original owner has left Sky. Someday they may decide to catch up and exclude routers registered to non users, but it has not come yet and I doubt if it ever will.
