      I would say yes, and they would definitely know I guess if they roll out a new FW for it and your's failed. If Sky acted on it though would be a different story.

      I kept my original sky unflashed white netgear router , just in case I ever had to phone them up about a problem . I could plug it back in while they did their tests. I suppose that would be the only time you'd draw their attention to a flashed router , in the sense that they would be on the end of a telephone line questioning you about it while they were investigating the problem.
