Re: Use of non sky routers

Belkin have seriously gone off the boil recently with their hardware, and an awful lot of not too old stuff has had support for it removed.

I can't use my Belkin router with wireless on windows 7 as the router needs a firmware update which won't be happening as Belkin have pulled the plug on updates for it.
I'm a PC, and Windows 7 Backup saved my sanity when BitDefender imploded !!!

It does not have a built in modem. Get the User manual here-
      http://cache-www.belkin.com/support/..._v1_manual.pdf

This, from the eBay advert should have been a clue,
works on adsl & cable connections

      G+ make no differance wirelessly
I have read that these Mimo routers can be difficult to get working properly. You have to make sure the aerials are exactly parallel and experiment with which way the router is pointing. It should, in theory, be better than the Sky router as far as wireless is concerned.

We don't allow delete own threads, as then people could delete them and subsequent replies would just not make sense without a question initially.

Do you realise how long it could take, just to go through every thread of yours to close them? If I have a spare week this year, I will do my best.

Maybe you should not have boasted about getting a brand new N router for 13.80 before trying to flog your old G one for 15.
