      Windows 7 blocks router logon

I cannot log into the netgear router in Windows 7 due to requirement for basic security setting, I have to use Windows XP to log into the router when ever I need to change any of the router settings.
What settings need to be altered in Windows 7 to allow log on to the router?

      Thanks

Do you get any on screen error messages? If so what are they (screen shot would be good). I've run Win 7 and had no issues with logging into the router. Do you have admin rights etc on the account?
Also are you on wireless or ethernet?

Thank you for your reply PaulSky.
I am on ethernet and I dual boot Win 7 and Win Xp. Since XP works OK it must be in Win 7.
I have done a screen shot hope this helps.

Re: Windows 7 blocks router logon

I've used Windows 7 for over a year (since the early Beta version) and I've never had a problem accessing my router. I can also access it from XP and various Linux distros (Mepis, Mint v8, PCLinux, OpenSUSE). They all work identically.

What browser are you using to access the router?
