      Sky Router WiFi standards

      My son has just purchased a new laptop with "n" standard wi fi. He is also having Sky Broadband installed soon. Does anyone know if the supllied Sky router will support this new standard? Is it possible to successfully request this feature is supported by the supplied modem? Thanks

      no sky routers do not support wireless-n and will not for a while yet.

      all sky routers only support upto wireless-g, and you cannot request a wireless-n router

      The laptop will still work, but at 'G' speed, 54mbps. N adapters are all backward compatible to G and B standard.
