Re: I've just migrated from Virgin and I think my Sagem is dead.

Well, I suppose I'll find out tomorrow...

Can anybody confirm that I have my ADSL login details correctly? Username (mac address @skydsl) and password (hash created from website).

It'd be good to get my old DG834 up and running when I've confirmed this ****-wisp is dead.

      Thanks,

Edit: Blimey. Not allowed to mention the Khyber Pass? Francois Rabelais would be mortified by this violation of his bum-fodders, tail-napkins, bung-hole-cleansers and wipe-breeches!

      I can tell!

So, you reckon that's all I need then on my old router? mac@skydsl, password, MAC spoof & MTU change to 1500?

Re: I've just migrated from Virgin and I think my Sagem is dead.

      Well that's the weirdest thing.

Just logged into the router, after it being plugged into nought but the laptop for around 30 hours now. Everything's running fine. Seemless.

If I didn't know any better I'd think they'd set a "be useful on such and such a date" lock out on it, either that or it's toying with me because I still think it's a glorified modem...

      The voices.... the voices...

It probably took the huff because it knows you don't like it.

Tell me about it! Has been working fine since that post... very odd. Still, we'll see how golden its Niagara Falls are when Sky switches on this evening.
