    changed max delay ?

      changed max delay ?

      hey

      i just called sky and asked to get my max delay changed to 8ms but im not sure if they have done it these are my results

      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
      Connection Speed 12127 kbps 896 kbps
      Line Attenuation 40.0 db 20.2 db
      Noise Margin 6.8 db 5.0 db


      whn i do a speedtest i only get 0.73mb upload but 12mb download, i was told the max my line can take is 6mb so im just a bit confused

      Max delay has little to do with speed. The only way it is, is that your maximum speed may be reduced to keep your connection stable.

      Running a ping test before and after the delay is reduced is the only way to know if it has been applied. Unless you have a router capable of showing the full statistics, which you don't.
