      Question Network printer

      Can I plug a network printer into my Netgear router and access it from the PC's that are using the router?

      No reason why not. You might have to set the printer up to be in the routers address range, but very often this is done automatically.

      it should be given an IP address through DHCP (as Isitme mentioned above)... but i always prefer to have printers on static IP(mainly so i can access the config pages easier in a browser window)... in which case use the reserve IP section of the router to give the router the details of the printer (MAC address, name and reserved IP)

      and you should usually be able to gain access to the printers settings and config in a browser window using its IP address
