Your connection speed is low for your Line Att - you should be connecting at between 12000 and 14000 if not higher

Cool, so if I went to max I would see a proper speed improvement.. in theory?
If I can nail down my wifi issues I might just do that!
Although if I nail it down I'm sure I'll well exceed my quota serveral months running and have no option but to go max!

I have been on Max since I transferred over to Sky from Pipex, My Line Att is 32.5 and I get 1.1 Mb/s on newsgroup downloads, so I see no reason why yours shouldn't increase if you go to Max, don't forget it is now 15/m if you don't have Sky Talk, and try pushing them for a deal of some sort :-)

Must admit I have been looking at other providers, but seeing as I get my mobile from Vodafone, and am not a great fan of O2 (mobilewise), then it looks as though I may have to stick with SKY.

my reason for not taking on sky talk was, i did have it a few years ago, when i first went over to sky BB, i've a mate in new zealand,i phoned him and was on the phone for 1h 17mins, for this one phone call, sky charged me 33, i complained, got it put down to 28 approx, the woman said i should go on the international plan, i said i shouldn't have to, as i was with talktalk before and the same length of call was 3.47, absolutely no comparison!, sky talk was papped right off and i'm with BT for calls
