      How long did you keep it in the test socket? Should take a minute for the router to sync i.e. the internet light flash amber-go solid amber-go green.

      Take a new filter, swap over for a new one and connect to the test socket again. Ensure you're using the short grey dsl cable to the router and no extensions. Re-take the stats after that or just monitor for drop-outs.

      Mishmash if after trying User05's suggestions you still cant get an ADSL signal try putting a normal phone into the test socket. It could be that the NTE5 has been wired incorrectly and the in line is also wired onto the faceplate, unlikely but if your not getting anything from the test socket it's the only explanation I can think of!
