Question Sagem and port forwarding/access to Ports etc.

Before anybody refers me to the very useful post-it's on this particular Forum I want to say that I understand about port forwarding and have been doing it for years in able for me to play the Game Vietcong, to use P2P apps etc. and for other Apps as well.

I have the black Sagem router and have tried all sorts of port forwarding via the firewall services and rules section.

But still it will not allow me to access Teamspeak (UDP/TCP 8767).

Even with a DMZ in place - nothing.

I am now also trying to play online with operation flashpoint 2.

Same issue, my servers cannot be viewed by other Users.

I'm really at the end of my frustration here so need some help!!

Regarding Software firewalls, I use the free version of Comodo but ALWAYS ensure it is deactivated and removed from Task Manager.

I have even tried switching off the Windows XP firewall so technically, I should be flying by the seat of my pants, with a DMZ in place, no software firewall whatsoever but STILL it won't allow me access to any ports (which it should right?)

Do sky deliberately block certain ports?

Any help would be most gratefully received.

      Giff

It may not help, but try changing to OpenDNS servers.
