Sky Router to Transfer Files?

I should hopefully be getting my new pc tomorrow. When it comes to transferring files, I was wondering if I can use the Sky router by connecting an ethernet cable from my old pc to yellow socket one on the router (I'm currently wireless) and connecting an ethernet cable from yellow socket two on the router to the new pc?

Yes, you can do it that way, or you can do it wirelessly

Thanks for the very quick reply.
Perhaps I may do it wirelessly. It means I don't have to buy any new cable!
I assume that if I use the Windows XP file transfer and network wizards they will show me everything I need to do.

Pretty much, but if you get stuck, just ask.

PS Networking wizard first.

Yep, know all about wives and cables!
