Can we have clear guidelines ....

..... on what can and can't be discussed on this sub forum please?

I understand the stance that the forum does not want to promote any contravention of Sky's T&Cs - so that rules out anything about using another router to access their service.

In the case of issuing commands to their router which changes the router's behaviour, this seems marginally different from interacting with the router via the normal web interface.

I posted earlier and asked if we could discuss this new SNR development. The reply was that you'd get back to us.

Next thing I know the thread is closed, apparently because I hadn't responded to a PM that I didn't even know I'd had

I want to stick to the forum rules but I'd like to know with a bit more clarity exactly what they are regarding this issue.

Thanks

Hi Saturday

The link was needed so that we could discuss, as none of us had seen the new info. I put a post in the admin section for us all to chat about, as to be honest we don't want to censor everything.

Now we have the link, believe me we are discussing it.

The other post was closed purely and simply because a member quite clearly carried on with the subject before we had made the decision. (This part has now been deleted)

I understand your stance, please understand ours, and I will get back to you asap

Saturday this action that I took and closed the thread was so nobody else tried to ruin it for everyone,

Now we know whats involved everyone will see it and then decide so no offence mate as nothing was meant by the closing of your post.

Some Advice.. Its always advisable to inform your old ISP as soon as you have migrated that you have moved.
