      ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 13371 kbps 1191 kbps
Line Attenuation 43.0 db 18.5 db
Noise Margin 7.00 db 8.0 db

I use an DG834Gv5 which i would recommend for getting the best out of the sky connection it worked for me and it should you.
This method could get you to that 8Mb, it is just a suggestion the router was only 40 i got mine from currys, if there was no improvement you could just take it back.
so i couldnt get more speed from sky? well thank you so much if it wasnt for you id have had 2.4 meg all the time. i am really gratefull

Just if you decide to try that router, for getting the username and password use this from mossywell.
      download it and install it.
