How does the phone sound if you use a normal wired phone?

Possible. Go into the router settings and disable the Wireless Access Point, then check your phone. If it is causing the problem you may be able to overcome it by changing the channel of the router or the phone, if posible.

Plug the router into the Test socket on its own and take the stats. Post them here.

      Re: noise margin

Cheers isitme , the stats i posted earlier were taken from the test socket. I will try to disable the wireless access point as i have a Cat5 network in the house and only use wireless for laptop if in garden etc.Is it easy to disable wireless or change the channel?

Yes, I know, what I meant was to unplug the phone when you take your stats.

      Re: noise margin

They are not exactly the same are they? Your noise margin has increased by over 3 dbs, which suggests you are getting interference from something you have unplugged and/or your filter is not performing correctly.

Have you turned off the wireless access point and changed the channel? How was the noise on your phone when you did?

Can you go to your MySky page, Broadband details and check if your line is training? I am reluctant to suggest anything more if it is.
