      Sky router keeps dropping connection, what should i do?

      My sky netgear DG834GT wireless router keeps dropping its wireless connection, i have treid the things that i know that could help such as change channel (i used network stumbler to see what channels people were on around me), moved my router to another position but still keeps dropping, it happens about 5/6 times a day its very annouying , any help on this would be very much appreciated.

      I know that wireless can be very unreliable i have found, others on the forum found that homeplugs give as good as connection as though you were using a wired connection.

      Try updating your adapters drivers to the latest issued by the manufacturer. This may help.

      Changing the router mode from its default of Auto 108 to g&b or g only, may help. Also check that any DECT/cordless phones are not interfering by turning them off temporarily.

      If your actual wireless signal is weak, you might want to try another antenna, such as this
      Wireless Network Omni Antenna 5dBi > Maplin
