    Can i change my encryption settings to WEP on a sagem sky router?

      Can i change my encryption settings to WEP on a sagem sky router?

      This is doing my head in, searched everywhere, tried everything, tried entering loads of passwords and usernames into the field box that pops up on 192.168.0.1

      what else can i try?

      i am using OSX10.4

      Yes, just select WEP in the security settings, put in a passphrase and make a note of the key to enter in your machine. It is not as secure as WPA, but better than nothing.

      Do you mean the admin / sky username and password?

      are you trying to get into the router configuration screen? if so the default is
      user - admin
      password - sky
      if someone has changed the password you will need to reset to factory defaults.
      Sync at 11194Kbps
