V1.03.87 is the latest firmware for the Sky V1 router. I guess the one you are refering to is a netgear revision or an update for the V2 ? Changing the password wont stop the fw from updating.

      Re: Still on firmware V1.03.87

Quite simply, Sky will not let us have the new FW for the V2 router, they have invested millions into the update servers, and their reasoning is, that those servers will distribute the required upgrades as and when they are needed.

The V1's are white so you do have the latest fw.

Maybe they think by not making it available it will not be 'hacked'
Is the new firmware for the V2s on the CD, or is it still the original issue?
