Angry Port Forwarding - Doesen't Work!?

Hi. This site is great. I have just switched from BT (say no more) to Sky, and went about trying to forward the port for uTorrent and have been unable - even though I have followed practically every tutorial, set instructions (to the letter!) - the port remains closed!
UPNP enabled: it works! But it still bugs me why I cannot get it to work, seeing as there are going to be apps in the future I'll use, thus, I will need to resolve this problem.
Anyway, I have tried both 192.168.0.1/2 - and neither of them work! That is the address of my internal LAN I.P; I have set up my I.P to be assigned 'dynamically', seeing as it wouldn't let me set it up manually (any idea's?)
Apologies for not taking screensots, but can do if it will assist anyone in helping me.

      Thanks.

P.S. I have also read conflicting reports that you cannot forward ports on the Sagem F@ST 2504 router? But that obviously untrue, as there wouldn't be any successful cases to the contrary, would there?

Re: Port Forwarding - Doesen't Work!?

Thanks for the replies and help. I found a solution (a somewhat obvious one): I stumbled upon a guide to create a 'static' i.p address, and I forwarded the ports for both uTorrent and Soulseek - and they work!
What I didn't do before, was to add the two DNS addresses in the settings, which before prohibited it from working.

      Cheers!
