Just rang and after many mins in a queue got through to a overseas agent who didnt want to know and told me that 2Mbit was fastest speed Im likely to get.

Rang back and spoke to another person from the same region who fed me the very same line. Asked to be transfered to someone technical and I was put on hold then cut off straight away.

I used to think Sky support was so much better than this.

Phone late in the evening, after 10.30, you have a better chance of being put through to CST who will fix your problem in minutes. Unfortunately the lower echelons of Sky support are staffed by script readers. (With the exception of those that post here of course)

Dlm will last up to 10 days , during that time the line speed will change, Dlm will find the most stable speed on the line, make sure your connected to the master socket for the best possible speed, you can call and ask for dlm to be stopped and have the line manually configure but i would recommend seeing the 10 days out.
