Help please before i go mad

I was issued the black sagem router by sky due to my old netgear being faulty. I have installed the sagem and can go online with the ethernet cable connected. I want to go wireless like before with the netgear but my wireless card in my laptop will not pick up the sagem router. I thought that it may be down to my laptop so i disconnected internet security and anti-virus etc however still no joy. I tried my PS3 and again it will not pick up the sagem router. All the lights are on the router but neither my laptop nor PS3 will pick it up wirelessly. I've took my laptop to my sisters where upon it picks up their router straight away and i can go online so something is telling me its my sagem router thats the problem. I've accessed the router login and the wireless is enabled. I'm loosing patience now. I've just installed a belkin router as a tester and my PS3 has picked it up wirelessly straight away!!!

Any ideas to what is wrong with my sagem router.
Sorry for the war and peace!
