      DG934G and Ethernet printer

      Hi all,

I have the Sky DG934G router and planning to buy a HP 1515N network printer (only ethernet no wireless).

Both desktops and laptop at home connect to the internet wirelessly through the router. The question is simple (hmm, I hope...):

Can I connect the printer to the router's ethernet port then make it accessible to all computers wirelessly? If yes, then I would appreciate some simple initial advice on how to go about it [ just the basics, if I get stuck I'll try to find more; don't want to take up all yor time ]

Since I don't want to spend loads of money, I'd be more than happy to skip any extra equipment, such as a wireless printer server to connect to the printer's usb. I would also like to avoid having one of the computers act as a printer server and have to have it on all day and night (cautious about my carbon footprint!)

Any help would be much appreciated!

There should not be a problem. As long as you are able to connect to the router wirelessly, you should have access to the printer. Set up varies so you would need to follow the manual when connecting it. Most are quite simple to connect.

      Thanks Isitme!

No worries about config, will figure it out and I think there's plenty of info in here and elsewhere for setting up. The important thing is tha I won't be crying over the printer (which might just as well void the guarantee!)
