Question Not Seeing attached All atached computers in list

I wonder if someone can help me ?

I have two computers connected wirelessly to the DG834GT. one is a laptop with built in INTEL wireless card . The other other connects perfectly with a W311t PCI card.

The laptop connects 54Mbs but the speed drops rapidly, the signal continues to show as EXCELLENT. Eventually the laptop will stop connecting . If i rght click on the wireless connection inthe task bar and run a repair . eveything is OK for a few minutes, but it soon slows down.

If I look in the router under ATTACHED DEVICES I can only ever see my main computer and the lap top is never shown.

      Any ideas????

If you haven't done so try a driver update for the wifi card.

Also is it possible for you to test the laptop wifi on another wifi connection?

      Thumbs up

      Thanks Ratti

I was just thinking that maybe I should look for any driver updates to my Laptop . It is an ACER1680 Centrino chip set .The wifi is Intel. Previously I have used it successfully connected to a Dlink DWL 2000AP+.This connection was not encrypted (not WEP nor WPA ) and worked faultlessly. So I was wondering if it might be the WPA driver for Cenrtino or something similar.

      thanks for the suggestions
