      New Account: Help needed.

      Hi,

      Just got a Sagem router delivered to my parents house, and I will be setting it up for them after the broadband is activated (Oct 21st).

      I notice on the letter it says:

      Once your sky wireless router is installed and we've contacted you to confirm that your broadband line has been activated, you'll be ready to login. To do this you'll need the username and password which we'll supply to you in a separate letter accompanied by a booklet which will explain all you need to know.

      Does this mean I need to manually enter a username/password into the router via the web interface. Does anyone have the format of the username for broadband?

      The username and password in the letter refer to your email account, which is Sky branded Gmail.
      The router is preprogrammed with its own username and password, and only needs plugging up and its ready to go.

      Thanks for that.

      So as soon as broadband is activated and the router is plugged in, I should be ready to go?

      How do I access the wireless settings of the router? Is it admin/sky and 192.168.0.1?

      Yes it is admin/sky and 192.168.0.1
