      Re: Constant disconnections.

Cant find my Master socket still, but i changed the filter and the SNR has gone up and is going between 9 and 11db, im not getting as many disconnections now but i still get around 2 a day (Used to be 20+).

I still would like a new router anyway, Since it overheats and i don't want to keep fans on it all the time. Why wont no one give me the details to request a new one?

There are no details to give to request a new one, as there is no means to request one.

You may get one if you call Support, don't quote me on it though.

      Re: Constant disconnections.

Without checking at the master socket there is no way of knowing that the router is faulty. However the best way to get a replacement from sky is to tell them it is dead (no lights at all on the router) You will have to lie when they ask you to re-set it and to check that it is plugged in.

Well what are your stats now? Maybe there was a fault at the exchange that;s been repaired now.

      Has you SNR improved?

      Re: Constant disconnections.

the router has been freezing randomly now, and the only way to get it working it to unplug it. Which is worse than you think, its in the cellar and i only have access to it at 3am-9am.

I got off the phone. Told them that it was completly dead, and they are sending me a new router (hopefully not a ****ty sagem). They said it will take 3-5 days to arrive, can i expect it to come before then? I really need to be online Saturday and Sunday without a drop in connection.
