I have been using skyusermail to send e mails since it was started without any problems at all on a PC with a wired LAN connection. I have just bought a wireless laptop and I have set up the e mail using the same details for servers and I just get error messages I can receive mail using my ISP's incoming mail server. It is the same router and broadband connection. Can anyone help please. Both computers are currently in use.

These are the error messages thanks for your help.
The message could not be sent. The authentication setting might not be correct for your outgoing e-mail [SMTP] server. For help solving this problem, go to Help, search for "Troubleshoot Windows Mail", and read the "I'm having problems sending e-mail" section. If you need help determining the proper server settings, please contact your e-mail service provider.

It looks like a config error at your end.
Remember to use the forum username and the password that you supplied to us on application for the SMTP.

I didnt have the Outgoing password log on and password entered I have now corrected that and I now get a Windows Security message asking "Please verify that both the username and password are correct for your mail server" with boxes for user name and password. I have tried all the combinations of usernames and passwords but nothing seems to work and it will not let me get any further.

Thanks for your help on this but I still cant get it working. It looks as if the initial problem is solved but now when I try and send I get A Windows Security Message asking me to verify that both thew username and password are correct for yoiur mail server. I have tried all password and usernames associated with both incoming and outgoing mail servers but it just keeps returning. I have no idea what username and password it is looking for.
A friend suggested that the firewall might be the problem I have tried switching off the firewall and it makes no difference.
Another strange thing as discribed before I have a Lan connection on the same router to my PC during the process I even reset my server password but the LAN connection carried on working on the old password.
Any help welcome
